Accessibility Compliance

Like most people, I sometimes find myself going down the TikTok rabbit hole and lose track of time. (Mainly when I should be sleeping).  While I was checking a video I had posted, I saw something about a small business being sued for not having their site ADA compliant.

This got me thinking about my own site. No, I obviously don't want to be sued - no one does - but I started to go through the site and checked a few things. I started adding the alt text to the photos and that's going to take a bit of time.
I kick myself because my own daughter is dyslexic, so I should know better.

I also found an add-on for the site that adds some accessibility options for people that need them such as a text reader, epileptic safe setting, and for cognitive focus. All of these things are found in the menu. The menu is in the bottom left corner and shows a person in a wheelchair in a circle.
I also have the accessibility statement under the FAQ menu/dropdown. If you have any questions or concerns regarding accessibility, please send us a message!

I am doing what I can to make our site accessible to everyone, but please give me time. Adding alt text is going to take a bit with all the photos that we have!
