This update revolves around the Etsy store that we still have open. While we moved everything that was handmade and our printed items from our Etsy store here to our new website, we haven’t closed the Etsy store.
Instead, we’ve been using it for vintage items that we find around the house we don’t want/need and we’re also using it to destash our crafting and sewing items. We have realized that we have so much, we’ve figured that instead of letting it sit, we’d much rather offer it to someone that could use it.
I didn’t realize just how much I had around here until I started going through things. For instance, a few months ago I went through my ribbon… How did I acquire so much ribbon?! Where did it all come from? I’m not going to use all this ribbon, so in a box meant for destashing you go!
I’ve already gone through the charms that I had leftover from my earring making kick. My son took some for his earring making – he makes resin earrings using UV resin and he wanted the small gear and key charms for his makes. (I’ll talk more about his items in another post.)
A good portion of those items are currently in the Etsy store along with some fabric I won’t use and some other things.
However, at this point, I've decided that once all of the listings expire on the Etsy store, I will be shutting it down. I have realized that I don't have the time to spend looking after so many different shops.
