If you follow us, you'll probably notice that we have some new items in our shop. These items are obviously not handmade such as this mug.
For these items we use a print on demand service because we do not have the capabilities to print these items ourselves. We use services such as Gooten, Printify, and Printful.
We have photography and digital designs that we would like to offer to you and we know that there are many people that can't have a large poster or canvas hanging on their wall. We use these services so we can offer our photos and art on items that you can use in your everyday life.
Also, we understand that many people frown upon using print on demand services. While we understand that there are concerns, please be aware that while there are so many options available for a seller - here at The Craft Crustaceans - we carefully select each item that we want to offer. We believe that just because it's available, doesn't mean we should try to sell it.
We also believe in checking out an item prior to offering it for sale.
For instance, several years ago, I ordered a sample of a blanket. They sent a total of THREE blankets and the print on each one was not right. Because of this, we did not offer the blanket for sale in our shop on a different site.
I am still waiting on the "right" fit for offering this particular design on a blanket.
